Abstract:
Increased nitrogen deposition can affect the structure and function of natural ecosystems. Here, we present the results of a survey of 50 peat bogs at the European scale, studying the effects of nitrogen loads and associated climatic conditions on plant biodiversity and ecosystem functioning.
